Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 October 2026

These terms cover your use of the BriefMe app and this website. By using BriefMe you agree to them.

The service

BriefMe brings together short summaries of news from publicly available sources, with a link to the original story. It is free to use. We may change, pause or stop parts of the service at any time.

News and credibility scores

Stories belong to their publishers, and we link to the original for the full article. Summaries and credibility scores are produced automatically and are a guide only. They can be wrong, so please check important information with the original source. BriefMe is not responsible for what publishers write.

Your notes

Notes you keep private stay on your phone. If you share a note, you are responsible for what it says. Please keep shared notes lawful and respectful: no abuse, hate, harassment, spam, or other people's personal information. We may remove shared notes, or turn off sharing for an install, if these terms are broken.

Fair use

Please do not misuse the app or our server: no attempts to break in, overload it, copy it in bulk, or get around its limits.

No warranty

BriefMe is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using the app or relying on its content.

Privacy

How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Using BriefMe after a change means you accept the new terms.
